What was going on in my life prior to working with you was a lot of overwhelming feelings, stress, negative self talk, difficulty expressing myself - all which led to feelings of unhappiness and lack of confidence. Through our sessions I gained ways to take more control of my life and emotions, ultimately leading to an improved sense of self worth, better communication, and more confidence in myself!
What I liked most about our coaching sessions was feeling heard, valued, and cared for in a non judgmental way, like I really mattered. Prior to our sessions I was struggling with those feelings. Now a days, I don’t feel so consumed by the negatives. I have learned to set intentions for the day in the mornings which has helped me to feel more accomplished rather than overwhelmed and stressed out. Positive affirmations, especially the one we set together “Even though I have fears, I still love and value myself,” has helped me to understand and appreciate myself more. It’s also helped me to be more compassionate with myself. I now think of myself as an equal part of the equation rather than giving all of myself to everyone else and not leaving anything behind for myself. So thank you!

At the beginning of our sessions there was so much happening in my life, especially work life. I was stressed at work and feeling depressed. I was still feeling stuck and was procrastinating a lot.
Nurse coaching sessions with Jeannette was my turning point. I was able to go deeper into myself and reflect on what was causing my procrastination and low energy. Jeannette created a safe space for me and that allowed me to be gentle and more accepting of myself. I have learned truly how to prioritize myself and be okay if I don’t show up for myself sometimes knowing that I was working so hard to make progress within. When we first met, I was going through a difficult emotional journey regarding my diagnosis. My soul was heavy with many uncertainties with myself, my family and just beat with weekly challenges.
I looked forward to each week when I would meet with Jeannette. Jeannette was the one person I felt very comfortable, safe and could be my truest self without judgement.
Jeannette would slowly guide me through breathing techniques. I, in the past, was very skeptical about this type of method used to calm your mind. I would ask myself, does breathing this way really work? I was amazed when she guided me with her soft, loving voice on a day I was very upset. I felt calm, not worried, agitated or sad, after completing the breathing technique. Jeannette validated my perception of my reality by giving me the feedback. It was okay to feel the way I did.
I am no longer a skeptic of breathing techniques. I have found peace in this method when I feel overwhelmed, upset, sad, or just frustrated. Jeannette also sent useful links to review, learn from and practice in my daily life.
I'm so thankful Jeannette came into my life at the moment I most needed this type of presence. Jeannette is a true, compassionate individual who can get to the core of the matter at hand yet making you feel like you're just having a conversation with a friend.
I would recommend her to any family member, friend, co-worker, acquaintance who needs a person who can listen, observe and take notes to work on what the main cause of the patients issue may be. Someone who is struggling to accept their past, present, unresolved issues, depression, health issues, just about anything as she can uncover the root cause and move forward with recommendations to assist the client get to their personal goal. My name is Kim, I have had horrendous medical issues for the last 9 months being the most challenging time of my life. Starting last May, a hip replacement that what was suppose to be an outpatient, I wound up being in the hospital for a month. I had great nerve pain and was on Dilaudid for 7 months. In and out of the hospital for months, having great nerve pain, 9 weeks after my hip surgery I had emergency spinal surgery. I still had nerve pain, not as severe, but still very painful for the next 6 months. I was on Dilaudid for 7 months for the pain. A couple weeks ago I got 2 SI injections and I finally am able to walk and not be in pain.
My coach Jeannette, always saw that ‘the cup was ½ full’! She is a very positive person and can help you see how far you’ve come/progressed and gave me hope for the future. Jeannette reminded me of where I was and how far I had come in my healing, not only physically but mentally. It would be so easy to spiral in depression but I never went down that road with the help of Jennette.

Working with Jeannette has been such a pleasure! Even when I would approach a call not in the best spirits or even in the midst of emotional meltdowns, her calm presents and kind attitude always seemed to shift my mindset. I don’t feel like she ever was judging what I was going through but instead helped me look at what I was going through together so we could come up with how to move forward. I thought that I was going to end out sessions with certain “health goals” or a “to do list” of things I should be doing, but instead throughout our sessions I learned that its so much more important to dive deeper into the why rather than what I'm doing.
She helped me understand where my gaps in motivation are and instead of us just coming up with an idea for a “solution” we came up with an idea to help me appreciate the effort I'm making every day even if it's small. It’s been so much more impactful for me in my life using this approach because I've had people simply tell me what to do and are surprised when I don’t seem to keep up. I am so grateful for having the opportunity of being coached by Jeannette, she is a good listener and has been of great support and guidance through these wellness sessions.
When I started these coaching sessions I didn't know how to get back on track to caring for myself, I was struggling for months knowing I had to address several things that were affecting my health, but was stuck, overwhelmed with the multiple issues and things to tackle.
At the first two sessions I was hesitating if this was going to be helpful as she had me commit to only three things; I thought this was not enough for everything that I needed to improve. But now I acknowledge it helped me to know what to focus on, be patient and caring with myself and I started to take actions and move forward. Jeannette had the patience and wisdom to guide me to gain clarity and help me start moving forward. I loved that at the end of our sessions she gave me a summary and highlights of what we spoke about, a list of the commitments and next steps. As well as helpful information and resources.
She also brought me to realize I wasn't helping myself by taking a medication prescribed one time to me a couple of years ago. Without the proper medical supervision, I was actually worsening symptoms and doing more damage.
Overall I am more grounded mentally and physically. Now I am often getting better sleep. And taking steps to care for myself. This is a great advance and it happened within a few weeks. Thank you so much Jeanette.
